PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT ON THE NEW STATIONS FOR
Willenhall and Darlaston
Two new railway stations are proposed for Willenhall and Darlaston. The stations will offer passengers connectivity to the regional and national rail network with services to Walsall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street stations.
The stations represent a significant investment in the local area, supporting the ongoing economic growth and regeneration of Darlaston and Willenhall. They will provide residents and visitors with the option to travel and commute sustainably, improving air quality and decreasing noise pollution from traffic congestion.
Transport for West Midlands and West Midlands Rail Executive invite the public to view and comment on the proposals between 4 March 2019 and 29 March 2019 – you can access the survey here, or in person at a drop-in engagement session.
