Public transport is included in your Commonwealth Games ticket
Your Games ticket includes access to public transport for journeys which originate and terminate within the nNetwork area on the day of your event.
You must have a valid ticket to travel by bus, train or tram.
Revenue Protection Officers will be out across the network and will be checking tickets on public transport.
Tickets and Fares
You can use cash or a card to pay for fares and tickets on the bus, train or tram in the West Midlands.

There are lots of travel options available to suit your needs:
- Single and return day fares
- nNetwork tickets - best for full flexibility and unlimited travel across bus, train and tram
- Bus tickets
- Tram tickets

Rail tickets
If you need to travel on the train prices will vary depending on your journey. You can check the cost of your journey by visiting Trainline which will tell you the times and prices and allow you to buy the ticket online.
Alternatively, you can buy at the rail station you start your journey from.
When you arrive at the rail station you will need to buy a ticket before you board the train. You can do this from the ticket office if available or at a vending machine.

If you need to make a one-off trip by bus then a single fare is what you need. If you are making more than one trip, then it’s probably cheaper to buy a day ticket.
