What's happening?

Storm Goretti has brought heavy snow and hazardous conditions across the West Midlands. This is affecting transport services. 

Bus, train or tram services may be delayed or cancelled at short notice. 

Plan ahead and allow extra time if you need to travel.

   

Bus

West Midlands Bus services are disrupted.

We will update service changes as they come in below. 

Please check information directly with your operator. 

Train

West Midlands Railway are currently unable to operate any train services. With exception of the Stourbridge Shuttle.

The situation will be reassessed regularly by the team.

West Midland Metro are operating.

A normal service is now operating between Wolverhampton and Edgbaston Village.

81 Operating but will not serve Vicarage Road, Roseville, Swan Village and Woodcross Estate.
53 Operating but will not serve Ettingshall Village.
530 Operating but will not go around Rocketpool. It will serve Bradley Lane.

41 Friar Park - West Bromwich Is now operating but with a reduced timetable.
19 Bloxwich - Walsall Is now operating but with a reduced timetable.
224 Bilston - Sedgley Is now operating with delays, but sticking to main roads only.

 

 

Service 57 Wolverhampton - Willenhall Is now operating.
Service 25 Wolverhampton - i54 Is operating a normal service.
Service 36/36A Walsall - Lichfield Is operating but with a reduced timetable. Service will operate main roads only.
Service 70 Cannock - Wolverhampton Is now operating with some delays to the service.
Service 3 Cannock - Brownhills Remains suspended.
Service 5 Wolverhampton - Codsall Is now operating with a reduced service, and not serving Evans Street and Dunstall Road.

A7/A8 Full Service but not serving Purnells Way, Tilehouse Green Lane, Longdon Road and Lodge Road.
A10 Service is operational via a diversion. Service will not serve Mayswood Rd, Farmstead Rd, Tanhouse Farm Rd, Fallowfield Rd, Gaydon Road, Ventnor Rd, Glencroft Rd, Victor Rd, Irving Rd, Goodway Rd & Rangoon Rd

Services are disrupted in the West Midlands.

Services 11 & 59 are operational, albeit with a reduced timetabled service.

 

West Midlands Bus on Demand

West Midlands Bus on Demand will be unavailable from 9pm on Thursday 8 January. 

Some areas may be less affected, but the service is paused across the whole region because vehicles and drivers operate across the West Midlands. This means we cannot safely run the service in only some locations.
