Park and Ride closures during Commonwealth Games – 29, 30 and 31 July

Park and ride

The Park and Ride at Wylde Green will be unavailable on 29 and 31

Please do not leave your vehicle overnight on Thursday 28 or Saturday 30 July or it may need to be moved.

Park & Rides at Sutton Coldfield and Chester Road are likely to be busier than usual as a result especially on Friday 29 July.

The following Park and Ride sites will be unavailable on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July.

  • Four Oaks
  • Longbridge
  • Rowley Regis

The majority of parking at Bromsgrove railway station will also be unavailable, however the car park closest to the road entrances will be open for public transport users.

Please do not leave your vehicle overnight at these sites on Friday 29 July or it may need to be moved.

The car parks will be open as normal ready for first service on Monday 1 August

The railway stations will be accessible, however please be aware that due to planned strike action train services may be very limited or not operating - therefore you should check your journey before you travel.

Should you still wish to Park and Ride on these days, alternative parking is available at the following locations on a first come first served basis:
