Be part of a UK-first EV Charging Trial
TfWM is partnering with Accelogress, our Save-a-Space provider, to trial a new reservation service for Electric Vehicle customers called Reserve & Charge.
We're looking for 25 electric vehicle (EV) drivers in the south Birmingham and Coventry areas to take part in an exclusive trial of Reserve & Charge at:
- Longbridge Park & Ride car park
- Tile Hill Station car park
The service is the first in the UK that allows users to pre-book an EV charger via the Save-a-Space app, giving drivers the confidence and convenience of knowing they have a charger waiting for them.
Responses from the trial will be used to further develop and improve the service, with plans for wider roll outs across the UK and Europe. Your feedback could genuinely shape the future of EV charging!
The trial is currently live at Longbridge and is due to start on 16 March 2026 at Tile Hill. It is available to Android and iOS users.
How Reserve & Charge works
Reserve & Charge makes public EV charging simpler and stress free by allowing you to:
- Pre-book your charger in advance
- Pay for parking (Longbridge only), charger reservation and electricity in one seamless transaction via the app
About the trial
This trial is part of the wider rollout of the Save-a-Space app, designed to give drivers confidence and convenience by removing the uncertainty of finding an available public charger.
Please note The two electric vehicle chargers at Tile Hill will only be available for people taking part in the trial when it commences, they will not be available via the existing Mer system.

Up to 16 March 2026 at Longbridge, people who take part will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one of three £50 Amazon vouchers.
From 16 March 2026, the first 25 users to sign up, use the app to reserve a charger, complete a charging session and provide feedback via a short survey will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you for their participation. This offer is available for customers at both Longbridge and Tile Hill.
