How to get to Poundland Bescot Stadium Walsall

  • Bescot stadium is the current home ground of Walsall Football Club. The stadium replaced the club’s previous ground at Fellow’s Park.
  • Bescot stadium is now sponsored by Poundland and also hosts a thriving entertainment and conference centre called the Venue.
  • The stadium is based on the South West of Walsall city centre and is easily accessible by buses and trains in the local area.

Consider using public transport

There are many transport options available to get to the Bescot Stadium whether you are attending a match or coming along to an event in the conference venue.

By train:

Bescot Stadium railway station is just a two minute walk from the stadium and is served by trains from Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton.

You can also access the stadium by travelling on trains to Tame Bridge Parkway.

By bus:

The stadium is well served by buses. Most buses leave from the Bradford Place bus station in Walsall Town Centre.

Diamond bus runs service 45 every 20 minutes during the daytime Monday to Saturday and every hour from 9pm.

National Express West Midlands & Diamond also run service 4 every 8 minutes which stops on West Bromwich Road which is a 14 minute walk from the stadium ground.

Consider Cycling or Walking

The Poundland Bescot stadium is a 30 minute walk from the centre of Walsall.

There is free cycle storage at the stadium and there are also 4 cycle storage spaces at the Bescott Stadium Train station (managed by West Midlands Trains).

West Midlands Cycle Hire is now available around the Walsall Arboretum and at the Walsall site of Wolverhampton University which maybe a good option to connect your journey.
