Key Travel Advice

Plan ahead and allow more time for your journeys

Check timetables and plan your route before you travel. This will give you plenty of time before the match starts. Check our disruptions page here to make sure you can leave more time if needed:  Disruptions - Transport for West Midlands (tfwm.org.uk)

Try to travel by public transport to avoid any matchday traffic. Instead of jumping in the car, try these alternatives to avoid matchday traffic.

The Stadium is well connected by public transport

By bus:

The ground is served by a number of bus routes. Buses which travel to the stadium are the number 17 & 60 buses. For more information, timetables and to find the best route for you, please click here to visit the Transport for West Midlands website and use our journey planner.

By rail:

The nearest train station is Bordesley which is 0.6 miles away, and operates only on home matchdays.  Birmingham New Street station is 1.9 miles away and Birmingham Moor Street station is 1.4 miles away.

West Midlands Railway services from Whitlocks End, Dorridge and Stourbridge call additionally at Bordesley station before and after football matches at St Andrews.  Full details can be found at www.tfwm.org.uk, on the journey planner.

It is also a very cost effective way to get to St. Andrew’s with many routes costing less than £5.

For more information click here to visit the West Midlands Railway website. Train times may be amended at short notice so please check before travelling.

Consider cycling or walking
