Find out about electric vehicles

Driving an electric vehicle can help improve air quality. Electric vehicles are cheap to run and exempt from tax.

You can get a discount on some new electric cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. Find out which vehicles are eligible on the GOV.UK website.

Charge an electric vehicle

There are charge points at train stations and car parks across the West Midlands. Our charge points are part of the Polar Network. You need to become a member to use them.

Polar Network membership costs £7.85 per month. When you become a member you’ll get access to over 7,000 charge points across the UK.

Register with the Polar Network to use our charge points.

These train stations have charge points:

  • Bromsgrove
  • Longbridge
  • Solihull

You can find more electric vehicle charge points on the Polar Network website. You can also get advice on how to charge an electric vehicle.
