HGV Driver Toolkit

Helping keep everyone safe on the road

Heavy goods vehicles (HGV) play a vital role in keeping the West Midlands moving. Whether transporting goods, servicing businesses or supporting communities, HGV drivers and operators have an important responsibility to help keep themselves and other road users safe.

Developed in partnership with Driving for Better Business, National Highways and Transport for West Midlands, the HGV Driver Toolkit provides practical guidance to support safer journeys and help reduce road risk.
