Request to suspend a bus stop

To temporarily suspend a bus stop or shelter for works, please ensure that Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is notified in advance by following the steps below:

1. Submit a Suspension Request

Complete the online form with full details of the proposed suspension.

Notice Period: A minimum of 10 days’ notice is required to allow sufficient time for coordination and mitigation of any potential impact.

2. Review and Confirmation

Once your request is submitted:

• The TfWM team will review it against the highways database.
• You will be contacted if further information or clarification is needed.

3. Equipment Hire (If Applicable)

If you have requested temporary suspension equipment (e.g. poles, bags and flags):

• TfWM will liaise with their Assets Team to arrange this.
• You will be contacted directly to confirm delivery and setup, where a quotation will be provided.
• Please ensure your contact details are included in the form.
