How to travel to Edgbaston Cricket Ground
Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Edgbaston Road, Birmingham, B5 7QU
Key travel advice
Plan ahead and allow more time for your journeys
Check timetables and plan your route before you travel. This will give you plenty of time before the match starts.
Try to travel by public transport to avoid any matchday traffic. Edgbaston and the surrounding area can get busy. Parking restrictions will be in place on streets around the stadium. There are a limited number of official car parks and we recommend booking spaces in advance.
Blue badge holders can book limited spaces in the stadium car park by calling 0121 446 3505. These spaces are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Clean Air Zone in Birmingham city centre is now operational. If you drive through the Clean Air Zone area in a car or van, you could be charged £8 per day if your vehicle does not meet certain emissions standards.
The stadium is well connected by public transport
Birmingham New Street is the main rail hub, with services from all over the West Midlands and further. On matchdays, a special shuttle bus service to the ground will be available for spectators at a small cost. At Birmingham New Street, Cricketeers will be there to direct you to the shuttle bus pick-up points outside.
Consider cycling or walking
The West Midlands Cycle Hire scheme is now live in Birmingham with bike docks located in the city centre and a short walk from the stadium. There are also a limited number of cycle racks at the stadium for private bike users.
